Simon has just finished a large scale recording project, where he sings, with orchestra,original arrangements of songs, reminiscent of the 1930's and 1940's. These are recorded in an easy listening/crooning style.

Simon is a frequent Guest Soloist with Ireland's Orchestras, performing in many of Ireland's leading venues; he has performed as a lead character in many Operatic performances and has recorded as a guest artist on several Cross Over Recordings.

Several highlights include:

  • Guest soloist with the 3 Tenors and a Frank McNamara conducted Orchestra on the
    Album "Christmas from Dublin".
  • Guest Classical Soloist on a current Dutch project being worked on by the Famous
    Bolland Brothers of Holland.
  • Writing and Arranging an Irish song for Placido Domingo and the RTE Concert
    Orchestra.
  • Performing Live on Ireland's National Classical Radio Station Lyric Fm, with the RTE Concert Orchestra, a number of his favourite Arias;
  • Performing around the world in many of the world's top venues from Royal ALbert Hall in London, to The Great Hall of The People in Bejing.

Simon is one of the core members of "Opera in The Open" which puts on 4 operas each August, that are free to the public (funded by Dublin City Council), to increase awareness and popularity of Opera, and get it away from the perception that classicalmusic is not for everyone...from humble beginnings, in 2010, they have up to 2000 people at each performance.

As well as performing many times in venues around the world as a classical artist, he has also a wealth of experience doing large big band material as well as with more intimate Jazz set ups in venues from Dublin to New York (where he held a concert at the infamous "Don't Tell Mama's")
